Audits for the Maritime industry

Internal Auditing is the most essential Control process in your PDCA cycle. Specialized Training and Drills

The HR Manager replied……. “What if we don’t and they stay?” We can be your training partner ensuring your people remain updated on all latest industry requirements and core HSQE topics. Indicatively topics include: Incident investigation, Human Factors Leadership, DryBMS, Risk Assessment, TMSA, Familization on RISQ, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.

For DryBMS, we offer a 2-day seminar to increase your Staff Awareness. The trainer is one of the members of the Working Group and Expert Committee that Compiled the DryBMS!

We can also prepare and coordinate full scale drills (ship-shore) to assist your team be ready to hande emergency situations as effectively as possible. Drills may be executed in cooperaiton with your P&I club, salvors, divers, Classification societies and media response providers or equivalent role play for these parties. Scenario, duration and scope are customized according to your emergency response plan and your particual needs.

ESG Reporting

We can prepare ESG reports for your organization. We ensure you that we will be using as little as possible of your valuable time to collect your data and understand your needs. The report will meet the requirements of your banks and other stakeholders. If so required, we can prepare your ESG report in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Standards and/or the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for Marine Transportation.

GAP analysis of Maritime requirements

Due to the nature of the maritime industry, it is regulated by many entities. You can focus on your core business while we perform gap analysis and assist you to enhance your management system to comply with any maritime requirements and upload your self assessments such as TMSA, DryBMS and Crew Welfare. Pre-Arrival preparation

A ship must always be ready for an inspection. However there are some ports that are riskier than others. We can offer the service of getting in touch with your ship’s Master and through a series of correspondence exchanged (including photos and if possible videos) help your ship be as prepared as possible.

Incident investigation

Incidents are opportunities to learn. We cooperate closely with your HSQE, Marine, Technical and Legal department to deliver objective and first class incident investigation reports. We can apply your incident investigation methodology or propose other approaches. We can also offer full incident investigation support, getting in touch directly with your ship to get the entire process off your hands allowing you to focus on the operational issues.

DryBMS GAP ANALYSIS

Carry out a Gap Analysis Audit of the Company’s SMS against DryBMS’s Expectations and Guidance. The audit will be lead by one of the members of the Working Group and Expert Committee that Compiled DryBMS. You will establish for your organization the current level attained in each of the 30 Subject Areas of the Standard and  identify the gaps towards the level the Company decides to attain.
